Amnesia?
I did a Yahoo search on my name, and one of the results that shows up is this:
------------
To members of chinese society 98
everyone has done a great job!!!huang cheng ye yun 98...yeah!!!!!!!!! these few days ,though tedious, has given me an opportuntiy to get to befriend with a lot of nice nice people zisheng, i read your message... this wonderful days i spent with the hua hui members shall live in my memory 4 a long long time..... three cheers 4 huang cheng!!!

----------
Goodness, there's mention of this person called Zisheng, and to think I actually bumped into him at Hong Kong in Nov last year! The most unlikely place to bump into an ex-classmate. He claimed to be my senior from Chinese Society, but I showed him the blur look, and said "Really? I dont remember leh.." Indeed, I really cannot remember.
Now I know he's telling the truth, and am curious what message he wrote. I feel like the actress suffering from Amnesia, cannot remember things from the past. So it does happen in real life! Now what did he write? Why cant I remember things from the past..well it's almost 8 years ago, so it's ok to forget. Humans only selectively remember things which bring them the most misery and happiness, and conveniently ignores the rest. Alot of my memories are still unawaken...

Interesting Points
Attended a talk yest, some interesting points the speaker made:
- You need to make 3 right choices in your life,
a. Choose your mother and father wisely.
b. Choose your mother-in-law and father-in-law wisely.
c. Choose your career wisely.
- A can of coke at the supermarket costs 45 cents, 1.20 at kopi-tiam, but 2.50 at tourist spots, and 6.00 at hotels. Morale of the story? It depends on where the coke chooses to be at! And the price is determined by the market around it.
- Dont complain about your job, coz it's funding your happiness now - funding your lifestyle, what you're wearing, what you're using.
- The difference in everything is NOW. If you postpone doing something, you are just hoping that you dont have to do it eventually and that it will go away. Now 3.5 months of the year is gone, and what you set out to acheive this year, you realise that you're not doing it yet. Then you're hear the Christmas carols and Auld Lang Syne, and one year is gone! (Wah..spot on!)
- There are too many choices in our lifes. You go to a Hawker Centre, and you dont know what you want to eat, coz everything seems good. You Q up for chicken rice, suddenly, laksa becomes good. But you need to FOCUS on doing one thing rite.
Food for thoughts ya?

Hawker Food
This post is dedicated to Singapore Hawker Food.
Went to Seah Im Food Centre near my work place, and decided to buy Hor Fun from a store. As it's self-service, I stood there and waited for my food. Then I saw how the Auntie make the Hor Fun. She just took out Hor Fun from a huge plate, scoop some onto a smaller plate, then prepare the sauce, which is hot and pour over the Hor Fun. Wah...made me lose my appetite instantly! Later I found out from my mum that's how they make Hor Fun now, I always tot they would cook in a wok, like any normal dish. Not gonna eat Hor Fun for a long time.
Then at nite, at this Food Centre at Chinatown, after finishing my century egg porriage using a plastic spoon in a plastic bowl ( I'm against that - the plastic will MELT! ) I saw a dessert store selling sesame paste, almond paste, peanut paste...u get the idea. And I asked if she still has sesame paste as her store looks suspiciously clean and empty. She said yes- anything u want she also got. Then I asked for 2 bowls. She took out a huge tub from the fridge, scoop out some into 2 plastic bowls and put them in the MICROWAVE!!! Wah..so dishonest these hawkers out there now..she's theoretically correct that she still has them, but had i know it's gonna be microwaved - i wont want it.
More n more hawkers are taking the short cut to serve their food - better to be more careful next time b4 you order!
And we went karaoke at Boat Quay Partyworld yest, that place was crappy- crappy room and even crappy toilet! Dont visit that branch ok!
But the crowd is good, and that saved the day..=)
