Full House

Caught the last epsiode of this korean drama serials, Full House, 浪漫满屋 today. The ending was so sweet..as expected of course. The actors and actresses are all so good looking, and even tho. the plot is really simple, they can bring tears to the audience...when can our Singapore drama serials be half as good?

Go-Kart in JB

WEnt to JB again yesteaday, with this bunch of OAC frens to try go-karting.
Not my first time, well...it's just a chance to get out of Singapore and try something different.
Got stuck at the customs for 4 hours (2 hrs there, and 2 hrs back).
Noone drive, we're all poor kids, the guys are still in uni studying, so we tok public transport all the way. (wasnt that bad, in fact when we came back, the human lanes are faster than the car lanes!)

ANyway, go-kart at this kinda dilapidated place, but it's pretty cheap compared to singapore (30Rm for 10 mins), and we did only 1 round (did i mention we were poor?) hahaha

So after go-karting, we actually WALKED to this shopping mall called JUSCO!! Really siao...coz M'sia is like USA, it's so spacious and my m'sian fren who planned this assured us that it is gonna take only a while...HELL NO! we had to walk on grass, rite beside the roads/expressways, the drivers must be wondering what's this bunch of pple walking. No proper pavement, it's fine...potholes all over, it's ok....hot weather...welll..time for a tan..but 1 thing i cant stand is the MOSQUITO!! Dengue fever is on the rage now, and to think i actually killed a mosquito sucking on my blood...I HATE MOSQUITOS!!!

Then anyway, after the very tiring walk, we finally reached the shopping mall (which i've been this CNY, and it's really no big deal..) walked ard for a while..din buy a single thing from this trip..then we went to eat seafood at this place nearby.

Me and a few other girls insisted on taking a cab coz it's really tiring to walk again..and come on...it's CHEAP (turns out to be only RM5 for 4 people..essentially only 60 sing cents) . i'm glad we did coz the rest of the pple insisted on walking !!! ( God knows why) and reached 20 mins later than us..

Seafood was ok, nothing fantastic..I think Sg East Coast seafood restaurants are way cooler.

Then, after dinner (called cabs to come in), coz it's dark and cant walk out! (pheew..luckily) wanted to visit a fren's collegue's fren's fren's pub at this wu-lu place called Landmark IT mall. Turns out only open at 10+, and it was 8 + , so we all WALKED (yes, walked again) to City Square. On the way, someone suggested to check out this hotel's lounge, might be able to get drinks and relax. So we went there, and after climbing 6 freaking flights of staircase, we finally reached. Too early too..there's live performance only at 9+, so we walked to City Square.

Wanted to sing KTV at this "Neway" but turns out to be too X (abtt 50 RM per person!!) SIAO! So ended up at Secret Recipe, where we ordered desserts. All cakes were gulped down within 5 mins (so u can tell it's not a very filling dinner we had)

Then it was stuck at the custtom again. Then finally back home.

Tired trip, but happy to be doing something diff on a weekend, and seeing my frens again.

Updates

Have been so busy lately and got pretty stressed at work coz i have to draft a paper which i totally have no idea at first what to put in. Anyway, it's finally done up.

Yesterday, this IT colleague drove us to M'sia thru' 2nd link to have seafood dinner. It's actually very close to Singapore, it's at a kelong at PTP, very peaceful and really very different from singapore. Saw goats! and chicken along those dirt roads on the way to the kelong. and on the way back on the car, you can see the stars in the sky shining so bright. so unlike sg.

When we reached there, it was low tide and u can see the mangrove, and while eating halfway, the tide came in, and when you look below thru' those gaps on the floor, u can see the sea. Hahaha...There's a few pple going out to sea, to catch fish i guess. It's really a nice place, with nice scenary and we can see the sunset.

But....

~the seafood there was so-so only.
~being quite close to sg, food there isnt too cheap, 4 of us spent abt 150rm on dinner
~crabs are too small
~the restaurant serve malays and totally ignore us, when we wanna add more dishes, coz malays are fasting now, they break fast only at 7pm and even tho. they come later than us, the restaurant refuse to take our orders, they wanna serve the hungry malays first. cant blame them for this i guess.
~this stupid m'sian driver at 2nd link causeway tried to cut our car's lane, my colleague refused to give way, and our car hit his side mirrror. after chopping our passport, this asshole driver's car was 'waiting' for us in m'sia, and then he did it: he deliberatly overtake and cut into our car's lane very fast, and dangerous, and then all the way in front of us, driving damn slowly. had to be careful in case he jam break, and blame us for hitting his car. damn asshole. later we finally parted. but it was really bad experience.

Drinking on a mid-week

Yup, that's what I did. Went to the Little Bali opposite my workplace with the S Club to drink and chill. We got the 1 for 1 housepours, ordered 3 jugs of Tiger Beer (not that i like it, but it's the only one that's cheap), and we got 6, 5 of us, each one must have drink more than 1 jug!

Woke up with a slight hangover today (feel so gasy and feel like puking...eeeks..hate the feeling), but still went to work, but was DAMN tired the whole day, and time seems to crawl and i dont seem to be doing anything efficient. Man...think i'd try not to drink so much. One or two glasses are ok, but more than 1 jug is a bit too much on a weekday, and u have tto work the next day..

Reminds me of the DnD last year, where it's a Fri, and i party till like 3-4 am, and i still have to work the next day, which is a Sat!! Felt damn terrible and felt like puking when i reach office...man....

But seriously, i have never ever puke before from drinking. Dunnoe if it's good or bad.
